Joint Venture Lodges

Joint Venture Lodges are partnership ventures between private sector tourism operators and conservancies. Tour guides at the lodges record the wildlife they encounter on game drives and boat trips and the lodges make Reward Payments to their partner conservancy. In addition to Wildlife Credits Reward Payments, joint-venture tourism generates significant community conservation returns nationally and also provides employment, household income and a range of in-kind benefits to local people.
